Where does the time go? I can't believe how fast it's going. You are already an energetic 7-month-old and you couldn't be any cuter.
- You love bouncing in your bouncer.
- You especially love watching Squeak eating his food or curled up on the couch from this vantage point. You laugh and squeal when you see him.
- You make the cutest sideways fish lips I've ever seen, but it has proven quite difficult to capture them with our camera or video camera (sort of like the second picture above but much more pronounced as fish lips and sideways).
- You have entered the precrawling mode. You rock back and forth on your hands and knees and then go back down to your tummy. You have also started army crawling and are quite mobile with this. I am getting nervous about baby proofing the house.
- You are teething again. I think it's the top front teeth this time.
- You made your first art project, which turned out to be a lot messier than I anticipated. It turned out super cute and was worth it.
- You are very social. Just today in church, someone told me that you are so social for a 7-month-old. I was holding you in Gospel Doctrine and our friends, Tommy and Jackie Steele, were sitting behind us. You kept laughing at them - not just a little laugh but really loud laughs, super fast breathing through your nose (which you do when you're excited), and there were even some snorts. It was so funny. I tried to turn you around but you kept twisting back to see them and laugh. I eventually had to take you out because your laughs were so loud that they were disrupting class. Your Dad and I thought that was pretty funny.
- You've started drinking from a sippy cup and you love it. I usually give put a little water in it and give it to you with your lunch. You can hold it by yourself (which is easier if you're laying down). So cute.
- Your Dad thinks your eyes and nose look like mine when I was a baby. A lot of people tell us you look just like your Dad.I get so many compliments about how cute you are. I can't disagree. We think you're absolutely amazing.
I must agree, that he is a darling little boy. He is growing up so fast. I love you Oliver.
