Three Months Old

Dear Oliver,

Today you are three months old! I can hardly believe how big you are getting. At three months old you:

* Can sit in your Bumbo by yourself (as pictured above). You love grabbing the blue chair with your hands while you coo and babble to us.

* Smile at us when we smile at you. Your smiles are the cutest thing ever.

* Laugh when encouraged.

* Have discovered your hands. You love to grab at things (including my glasses sometimes), rub your eyes, and scratch your head.

* Have craddle cap. It is so sad to see you scratch at it and know that it must itch.

* Drool and blow spit bubbles.

* Have chubby little cheeks.

* Sleep in your crib at night now, rather than in your bassinet in our room.

* Enjoy your baths, even having your hair washed.

* Seem to enjoy reading books with me.

* Still love music and dancing with Mom or Dad to it.

* Love bounces.

* Love looking at light.

* Have a strong neck and strong legs.

* Take steps on our laps if we encourage you to "walk" forward.

* Weigh over ten pounds (I will find out your exact weight and length at your next doctor's appointment and add that here.)

You are such a cute and sweet little baby. We love you a lot.
