You sure know how to melt my heart

Dear Oliver,

Tonight you are spending the night at your Grandma and Grandpa Schultz' house. I love that you just called me to tell me you miss me and love me before going to sleep. Hearing your sweet little voice on the phone made me smile.

Sometimes it's challenging being a mom to two energetic little boys. I am exhausted a lot (especially since I'm pregnant with your sister right now). But I am so grateful to be your mom. You and Joshua are so precious to me. I go into your bedrooms at night before I go to sleep and I check on you both. I look at your sweet little faces and thank Heavenly Father for sending you to us.

I know someday you won't call me to say goodnight when you are away, and even if you do, you won't have that sweet little 4-year-old voice anymore. I will miss it.

I love you, Bud. You are an amazing kid. I hope you always know how loved you are.
