- Your favorite person continues to be your daddy. When I come to pick you up from Sarah's house, you look at me and ask, "Daddy?" You adore him. The only time you prefer me is at night when you're ready to go to sleep. You like me to do your bedtime routine with you.
- You like to wipe your nose with toilet paper or a wet wipe, even when it doesn't need wiping. You blow into it, like you're blowing your nose. You even do this with the tiniest piece of toilet paper.
- You love to sit on the bottom stair to eat a snack, look at a book, etc. You pat the space on the stair next to you for mommy or daddy (or both of us) to sit by you.
- When we tell you it's time to say prayers to Heavenly Father, you fold your arms and bow your head. It's so sweet. The other day I asked you if you wanted more pears. You must have thought I said, "It's time for prayers" because you folded your arms and bowed your head right there in your high chair.
- Your new favorite thing is coloring. Unfortunately, you've already drawn all over the walls.
- You think everything round is a ball, such as an apple or orange.
- You know the signs for please and thank you.
- You love cream cheese and lick it off of a bagel.
- You love dipping (ie. pretzels into peanut butter, veggies into hummus, fruit into yogurt, etc.)
- You like to dance to music.
- You wave bye bye.
- You understand so much. I can tell you to put something back, take something to daddy, go and get your diaper, get the ball that's under the table, etc. and you will do it.
- You love to jump up and down. You have so much energy!
- You love to climb on things, which makes me nervous.
- You love the Ipad. You know how to use it to find your apps. Your favorite apps are "My Very First App by Eric Carle" (where you match colors or animals with their homes), one where you touch parts of the page and they light up and make a sound, one that is a story about a bird who learns how to fly, and a few music apps. You also love Daddy's touch phone and seem confused that you can't touch and drag things on Mommy's ancient slider phone.
Love, Mom
