Dear Oliver,
At five months old (well, technically five and a half months at the time of this posting), you:
* Flap your arms up and down when you get excited. I love how when I go into your room in the morning to get you out of your crib, you break into a huge smile and start flapping your arms up and down.
* Love butternut squash, green beans, and sweet potatoes. You will eat peas and rice cereal but don't seem to love them as much.
* Started rolling from your back to your tummy right around five months. You would get stuck and then cry because you were frustrated. Now you can roll back to your back on your own and we have to be a bit more vigilant as you will roll across the room in a few second flat.
* Watched Baby Einstein (Farm Animals) and you were so excited about it. There were many arm flaps involved.
* Deliberately study and grab things (a rattle, a book, our glasses, our faces...)
* Sleep like a champ. You usually just get up once, around 4:30 am but the other night you slept for 12 hours straight! It was amazing!
* Smile all the time. You are happy unless you need something.
* Your laughs are the cutest thing ever.
We love you!
Mom

P.S. You face is red in these pictures because you were laying on it during your nap. It went away a few minutes later. I still wanted to post these though because you're just so cute in them.
I miss my sweet little boy. I love you Oliver.
