Little Friend

It was four days after we brought Oliver home from the hospital before we finally decided on his name. Before we did, I found myself calling him "little friend." I called him this because Wendel and I call each other "friend" as a nickname sometimes, so it seemed like a good fit. This blog is all about our sweet little friend, full of pictures and stories to keep grandmas and other family members up to date who live far away.

Here are some recent pictures of Ollie from over the past couple of months (in no particular order). These first two were taken tonight. He's getting such chubby little cheeks. What a cutie! (He also has some cradle cap...poor little guy.)

You love hanging out with Squeak. I think he feels the same.

You love being swaddled in this little blanket

One week old.

Big yawn on Easter Sunday.

Our first family photo.

Aunt Lindsey kissing Ollie.

Grandma and Grandpa Schultz came to visit in April.

One of my favorite pictures, taken on Easter Sunday.

I love how their mouths look the same. So cute.

Sweet, kissable little feet

Hanging out with Uncle Ty.

Uncle Levi came to visit at the end of April.

Grandma Louise has come twice; once for two weeks right after your birth and then again for a week right around his two month mark. You're lucky to have a grandma who loves him so much.

Your blessing day. Four generation picture.

Grandma and Grandpa Herzog came to WA for your blessing.

In certain light, your hair has a reddish / auburn tint to it. I have no idea where that comes from.

Oliver is such a blessing to us and we're so glad he's a part of our family. I look forward to sharing lots more of our little friend here on this blog.
